In short, industrial power supplies are power supplies catered towards the industrial-level applications, many of which have more demanding conditions, as compared to the standard laboratory conditions. Industrial power supplies tend to come in more ruggedized packaging, with tolerances to more extreme temperatures, higher peak-load capacities, and high isolation voltages for certain unique industrial requiremants. The power supplies usually support both AC and DC, up to voltages of 100W, as compared to the standard 24W used in laboratory settings, with most being able to change between the two with a flick of a switch.

Current Sensing

Current sensing solutions are currently used in electronic equipment, with a wide variety of use cases. It can be used to simply collect data on the current flow through a certain point in the wiring, or even to output, toggling on and off based on a current threshold.
